The importance of a well-designed forestry scheme
cannot be overstated for successful deer management both in the
short term and more importantly in the long term. A well-designed
scheme will substantially reduce the likelihood of economic losses
from deer damage throughout the life of the forest. I will provide
the necessary input in the practical design required both for the
new woodland grant schemes and for the restructuring of established
schemes for deer control and wildlife management.
